• 1. School day begins with the morning assembly, ten minutes ahead of which all should reach the school premises.
• 2. Students are to have great regard for the Rules of politeness, general cleanliness, decency in behavior and respect for one another.
• 3. All should speak English in the school premises.
• 4. Special care must be taken to see that silence is maintained during the change of periods.
• 5. Students are responsible for the safe custody of their belongings.
• 6. No responsibility is taken for jewellery or any other valuable articles brought to the school by the student.
• 7. Any damage of the school property is to be made good by the student at fault, or, if not traceable, by all the students collectively.
• 8. Students are expected to take part in extracurricular activities with all enthusiasm and with a spirit of sportsmanship.
• 9. Tools/objects that are not of any need or relevance of the academic pursuit should not be found with any student within the school premises.
• 10. No books or magazine other than text or library books may be brought to the school.
• 11. Pupils and parents are forbidden to give either individual or collective gifts to the teachers.
• 12. Students are not allowed to receive visitors, make phone calls or leave the school premises during school hours without the permission of the Principal.
• 13. No collection of money for any purpose whatsoever, may be made in the school without the permission of the Principal.
• 14. The school accepts no responsibility if a student is obliged to return home during class hours because of failure :
  i. To wear school uniform.
  ii. To bring the proper class work.
  iii. To get Parent’s/Guardian’s signature whenever necessary.
  iv. To attend the class in time.

• 15. All will listen keenly to the timely directives given by the Principal and take care to abide by them.

• 1. Conveyance facility may be arranged by the school, but a seat in the school bus is not guaranteed. The school bus halts at fixed places only at fixed time. Arrangements, therefore, must be made by the parents to bring the children to bus stop and take them back home.
• 2. Bus fee is fixed according to the distance. It is to be paid along with the Tuition fee.
• 3. Bus fee for the entire month will be charged even for partial use of the bus in any month.
• 4. The children who use the bus facility have to renew the application for the same at the beginning of every new academic session.
• 5. Students who want to discontinue the use of School bus should inform the school authorities in writing at least one month before doing so.
• 6. Parents are urged to arrange their own conveyance to avoid Rush and Crowd in the school bus.

While every care is taken to ensure safety, the school will not be liable for any damages / charges no account of any accident in which a student may be involved at any time during his / her stay in the school ; while taking part in sports or other activities or while travelling by school bus. All expenses that may be incurred as a result of such accidents will be borne by the parents.

Carmel School, Brambe is affiliated to I.C.S.E, New Delhi. The course of studies is planned to lead up to the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) taken at the end of Std. X. This examination is recognised by the Government of India through an Act of the Parliament and the Council is appointed as one of the Indian Examination Bodies.

• 1. The medium of instruction is English.
• 2. Hindi is taught as a second language.

• 1. Admission begins in the month of January.
• 2. Application for admission must be given personally by the Parent/Guardian who is strictly responsible for the child.
• 3. Minimum age for admission to Nursery is three Years.
• 4. Birth Certificate/Aadhar Card/Transfer Certificate from the competent authority should be produced at the time of admission.

• 1. No school leaving certificate is issued without a written application from the Parent/Guardian after the payment of all dues to the school.
• 2. Prior to the withdrawal of a student from the school a month’s notice in writing or fee in lieu thereof, is required.
• 3. The Principal reserves to himself/herself the right to ask the parents to withdraw their child if his/her progress in studies is unsatisfactory, attendance irregular, conduct detrimental to the discipline of the Institution.

• 1. Tuition fees are to be paid for 12 months.
• 2. The annual fees which comprise term fee (electricity and water), library fee, magazine and functions, Computer, sanitation and hygiene, security and examination fee, sports and games also will be charged every year.
• 3. The school reserves its right to revise the fees without prior notice to meet the rise in expenditure due to the increase of the cost of living, as long as the school does not receive grant or aid from the government.

The uniform is meant to create a sense of oneness and equality among students and to urge them to reflect, apart from scholarship, the values which they imbibe from the mother institution.

• 1. There will be Three unit tests and Three Terminal Examinations.
• 2. No test or exam shall be held other than the scheduled time.
• 3. A minimum of 90% attendance is required for promotion.
• 4. Results declared at the end of the Year are final in all cases and will not be reconsidered, nor will the answer scripts be shown.
• 5. Students, whose fees are in arrears will not be allowed to sit for the final examinations.

• 1. Leave of absence will be granted only on written application from Parent/Guardian and that too for not more than three consecutive days and only for grave reasons.
• 2. Application for sick leave involving more than three consecutive days should be supported by a medical certificate.
• 3. Repeated absence without leave application and unexplained absence for more than 10 consecutive days renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls.
• 4. Every absence must be recorded in the non-attendance and leave record at the end of this diary and signed by the Parent/Guardian.
• 5. Monthly overall evaluation.

• 1. Parents/Guardians are requested to co-operate with the school in ensuring a high standard of morality and discipline among the students.
• 2. Parents are advised to ensure that their children prepare their lessons regularly at home and take keen interest in the activities.
• 3. Criticism of the teachers or management in the presence of the students should be prudently avoided as this may adversely affect the child.
• 4. Parents are required to sign the progress report and the occasional report from the teachers.
• 5. Parents/Guardians are specially required to notify the school of any change in their address.
• 6. While sending letters or making any inquiry please note the name of the child, the class and the admission number.
• 7. Visitors will meet the Principal first and any dealing with the staff or the students will be done in consultation with him/her.
• 8. Parents may not disturb the staff and the students with untimely visits, but they are requested invariably to contact and discuss with the teachers about their children’s progress on Open Day, from 8.30 A.M. to 11.30 A.M.
• 9. The school welcomes from the parent’s suggestions for improvement which are to be clear, precise and preferably put in writing.
